Barbecued Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Friends still request this pulled pork after having it once. Great for a party, and kids love it too!

Ingredients:

  • 4 Pound Pork Shoulder Roast
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 Bottle Barbecue Sauce, 14 ounces, of your choice
  • 1 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 8 Hard Rolls, or hamburger buns

Instructions:

1.  Place the pork roast in the slow 1. cooker, fat side up. Add chopped onion.

2.  Cover and cook on High for 5-6 hours.

3.  Remove the pork roast from the stoneware and pour out any remaining liquid. Pull the meat into shredded pieces. Place meat back in stoneware and combine with the remaining ingredients.

4. Cook on High for 1 hour. Serve the barbecued pork on buns
