Grilled Salmon with Scented Herb Oil
Salmon atop grilled citrus and drizzled with fresh herb oil make a three star dinner idea!


  • 1 Lime, sliced into 1/4″ rounds
  • 1 Orange, sliced into 1/4″ rounds
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 4 Salmon Fillets, 6-8 ounces each
  • 1 Teaspoon Private Selection Organic Basil, .66 ounce, finely sliced
  • 1 Teaspoon Private Selection Organic Mint, .66 ounce, finely sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon Private Selection Organic Tarragon, finely chopped

1. Preheat grill. Lightly brush lime and orange slices with 1 teaspoon olive oil. Place on
grill for two minutes on each side, making nice grill marks.
2. Lightly brush salmon with olive oil on both sides. Place on grill, skin side up for 3-4
minutes. Close grill lid. Carefully flip and grill for another 2-3 minutes, until internal
temperature reaches 145° F. Remove and cover loosely.
3. Heat olive oil in a small saucepan on grill. Add in basil, mint and tarragon. Heat for 30
seconds. Lay grilled lime and orange slices on plate, top with salmon. Drizzle with
fresh herb oil.
