Grilled Texas Broil
A simple rub is the perfect seasoning for this Texas sized steak. Sliced thinly, it will please the whole family!


  • 1 1/2 Pounds Texas Broil, 1.5 inches thick
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil

1. Preheat grill to medium high heat. Mix dry rub: Blend cumin, paprika, cayenne,
oregano, pepper and salt. Brush Texas Broil steak with olive oil and season with dry rub.
2. Grill steak for 7-8 minutes per side for medium rare, until internal temperature
reaches 145°F.Transfer to work surface and let stand 5 minutes. Carve in thin slices
against the grain.
