Lemongrass and Cilantro Salmon

Lemongrass and cilantro are the perfect flavors for salmon!


  • 4 Salmon steaks (approx. 6oz each)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 3 tbsp. Gourmet Garden Lemon Grass
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp. Gourmet Garden Cilantro
  • Zest of one orange

1. In a deep dish, mix together the orange juice and Gourmet Garden Lemongrass.
2. Season each piece of fish with the salt and pepper and place into the juice mixture. Marinate in the
refrigerator for 1 hour.
3. Make Cilantro Orange Butter: Combine softened butter with Gourmet Garden Cilantro and orange
zest. Place in the centre of a large sheet of plastic wrap and roll into a log.

5. Remove the fish from the marinade and brush each piece with a little olive oil. Broil (grill) the fish for 5-6
minutes only, until cooked.
6. Top with a pat of Cilantro Orange Butter. Serve with fresh spinach salad.
