Marinated Flat Iron Steak

With this easy marinade, this flavorful cut of beef is delicious broiled or



  • 2 Each Flat Iron Steak, 1 pound each
  • 1/4 Cup Red Wine
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
  • Juice of One Lemon
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 3 Tablespoons Honey
  • 3 Tablespoons Fresh Rosemary, chopped
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced


1. Place flat iron steak in a resealable bag, or glass dish and add remaining ingredients. Turn to mix and coat the steak. Seal and refrigerate for 2-4 hours, turning occasionally.

2. Preheat oven broiler to high 2 and set rack about 4 inches from heat source.

3. Remove steak from marinade and place on foil-lined baking pan.

4. Broil for 6-8 minutes per side for medium, turning once.

5. Let rest for 5 minutes. Slice thinly on the diagonal.
