Pesto Tortellini with Asparagus

Al dente tortellini, fresh asparagus and authentic Italian pesto make this dish delis, and it can be served hot or cold!


  • 1 Package Buitoni Mixed Three Cheese Tortellini, 20 ounce
  • 1 Pound Asparagus, cut into 2″ pieces
  • 1 Package Buitoni Pesto Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Zest
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper


1. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Add asparagus to boiling pasta water two minutes before pasta is done.

2. Drain pasta and asparagus. Gently toss with pesto. Top with lemon zest and pepper. May be served hot or chilled.
